Job Description
Candidate reports directly to Account Payable Manager. Responsible to perform all payment processes including cheque, online, bank draft etc.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for taking ownership of the payment process
- Responsible for payment processing in the system within agreed timelines in Service Level Agreement; ensures accuracy and timeliness
- Perform root cause analysis for errors noted and resolve independently
- Handle external / internal stakeholder’s payment enquiries
- Process improvement on own process including front-end business process
- Follow up on any conflict resolution on the disputed invoice posting and payments
- Ensure compliances to departmental key controls
- Liaise with Internal & External Auditors
- Assist Account Payable Manager in supervising/coaching junior team members
- Any other ad hoc task / project assigned as required
Job Requirements
- Oral and written fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- University Degree or other relevant accounting professional qualifications.
- 3 years’ experience in an accounting firm would be an advantage
- Self - motivated, analytical, can work independently.
- Ability to co-ordinate with cross function team.
- Honest and sense of discipline
- Stable employment record
- Computer knowledgePeople-oriented and ability to influence people
