Job Description

We are looking for a Research Specialist who has an affinity for advanced tech research and has a strong passion in providing high quality research findings, with the aim to increase our client’s market intelligence. The ideal candidate also has the ability to communicate these findings, that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders. The Research Specialist is part of a larger research team based in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, and works directly with stakeholders and consultants based in the USA.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research for our clients based on their current and future business needs.
Deliver accurate, timely and robust research findings to increase client’s knowledge database.
Synthesize information into formats and reports that are easy to digest and can be utilized by all stakeholders.
Collaborate with team members in problem-solving and organization of research materials.
Monitor current market trends, point of views from market and thought leaders and provide research insights
Identify and assess new trends appropriate for potential business opportunities.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
IT background. A Bachelor’s degree would be a plus, but not required.
Interest in advanced tech research.
Great research, and organizational skills. Candidate with strong analytical and summary capabilities preferred.
Exceptional communicator with good written skills. Must be able to clearly articulate, visualize and present research findings targeted at both technical and non-technical audiences.
Highly curious, resourceful and has a passion for learning.
A self-starter with strong belief in the team spirit.
