The responsibilities 

We are currently looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager to support the exciting growth plans with Malaysia. You will be responsible for a variety of special projects, including market development, marketing communications, PR, Events, deployment of company websites, internal communications, and marketing promotions. 

You will also define and drive the regional marketing plan and communication strategy in line with the global business/marketing and regional sales strategy to help increase market share overall. 

 

Moreover, you are responsible to control and monitor the overall Marketing budget for the Malaysian Channel. You will increase the visibility and profile of ViewSonic’s brand and all business units across the region, as well as improving and managing its reputation, utilising all forms of media and communication (including online). Ensure proper communication internally and best practice sharing across the region. 

 

1. A Bachelor degree in Marketing or Communications; 

2. Fluent in English and Chinese is necessary  

3. At least 3 years practical experience in marcom department in IT and/ or consumer electronics industry; 

4. Familiar with Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and illustrator is a plus 

5. Copywriting and proof reading skills; 

6. A capability to develop marketing plans as well as maintain the budget; 

7. Knowledge of digital marketing is an advantage (SEO, Google products, Social media, etc.); 

8. eSports & Gaming related marketing experience is a plus
