Job Description
1. Job Description and Requirements:
The Industrial / Process Engineer will have responsibility for improving productivity and product quality while reducing all types of waste in a multi-site of manufacturing operation.
2. Plant Continuous Improvement / Lean Champion:
•Lead process improvements to increase through puts, reduce waste, and improve quality within all manufacturing processes (offset printing, laminating, die cutting and other finishing).
•Work with operators and supervisors to develop standard machine processes
•To drive continuous improvements for cost saving activity
•Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot manufacturing efficiency, quality, or waste issues
•Lead Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) system
3. Team Leadership:
•Lead and plan efforts of a Process Improvement Coordinator
•Provide coaching and feedback to develop others and consistently appraise performance
•Provide and participate in educational opportunities and cross-functional development
•Work with plant leadership in identifying potential capital improvements or capital replacements, assisting with analysis and justification for these projects
Job Requirements
1. Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
2. Professional background:
•3+ years printing industry experience in Continuous Improvement or Process Engineering
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
•Leadership and Critical thinking skills
•Experience in Visual Basic Application – VBA programming is added advantage
