Job Description

• Assisting CFO to review the consolidated Group Accountants & quarterly and bursa announcement. 

• To guide accounts senior staff to handle statutory accounts preparation and accounts works. 

• To put company internal controls and risks measurement mechanism in place with continuous improvement measures. 

• To set proper products costing system for the group of company. 

• Reviewing monthly consolidation result with analytical commentaries on the group performance such as the root cause of GP and net profit fluctuation to report CFO on quarterly basic one month before board meeting. 

• Assisting CFO handling group management report, quarterly announcement paper and dashboard reporting to BDO 

• Reviewing and analyzing all subsidiaries management report to compile the group performance commentaries with help of accounts staff. 

• Required to report to CFO on monthly basis on individual subsidiaries performance, cash flow position, debts collection and creditor payment status. The problematic areas required to highlight with suggested solution. 

• Reviewing monthly inter company reconciliation procedure for balance sheet and their impact on finance reporting. 

• Assist CFO to comply Bursa requirements. 

• Liaising with subsidiaries operations heads for yearly budget, Capex & Opex. 

• Reviewing the works performance by Accounts Executive and Junior Accountant. 

• Assist CFO in special assignments ( i.e Corporate exercise ) 

• Liaise with the auditors to ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements and standards. 

• To ensure adequate internal controls and compliance with finance policies. 

• Other minor and ad-hock activity or function as prescribed by the CFO to assist in achieving Finance Department goals. 

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. 

• Required skill(s): analytical and meticulous for details, high integrity and able to work independent, good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia, MS Excel. 

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. 

• Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Finance - Corporate.
