Job Description

We are currently looking for a skilled front-end web developer to help design and maintain the PurelyB web portal, marketplace and health programme systems – which will include user dashboards and later HTML5-based mobile apps; all in a motivated and creative environment with a close-knit team.

Candidate must be self-motivated team players who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment and love consuming technology almost as much as creating it. If you’re a smart, creative, ambitious developer who’s always looking for a better way, we’d like to talk to you.

What you will do:

Taking PSDs and converting them into HTML5 & CSS3 format
Working with designers on PSD direction
Working with developers on convert static pages to dynamic pages
Support UX/UI design (preferred)

Job Requirements

Minimum 3+ years experience in UI/UX Design for web and applications.
HTML 5, Javascript, CSS3, AJAX, JQuery
RESTful Services and REST APIs
Responsive Design
Node.js, Angular.JS
Good “eye” for presenting data and information
Visual Design
UI/UX Design
Proactive and diligent with little need for structure
Team player that can work with different team dynamics (between designers and developers)
Enjoy working in a dynamic startup environment where standards are high and changes to the business and product are happening at high speeds.

A bonus if you have knowledge and some experience in:

Cordova/PhoneGap, Ionic, mobile development, native iOS / Android
Deployment and integrations with 3rd party platforms such as intercom.io, mailchimp, CRM
MVC Frameworks: Codeignitor/Yii/Laravel
CMS Platforms: Wordpress/Joomla
