About The Job

At Oddle, the Sales team plays one of the most significant roles as a crucial instrument to drive our growth.

As a Sales Associate, you will be focusing on growing portfolio of restaurants across Malaysia from the prospects generated by our Sales Development team. We are seeking talented and driven individuals who are passionate about making a difference to the F&B scene by empowering F&B businesses with technology. What you will do:
  • Discover merchants' potential for online business, identify their challenges or concerns and consult them on how Oddle solution can address and add value to their business
  • Managing, tracking, and reporting on all sales activities and pipeline
  • Meet or exceed given weekly and monthly KPIs and targets
  • Ensure timely collection of payment before merchants go live with our system
  • Establish and maintain strong relationship with clientele in the F&B industry
  • Develop in-depth knowledge and gain updates of key trends of the local F&B e-commerce industry
  • Gather merchant feedback, monitor competitor activities and provide recommendations for improvements to product development team

Job Requirements

What we're looking for:
  • 1-2 years of experience in direct sales with a proven track record of success. Experience in Software-as-a-Service or F&B industry will be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbally, with the ability to negotiate and convince. The ability to speak a 2nd language is a plus (Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Tamil etc.)
  • Excellent team player with willingness to share knowledge and experiences with the team to achieve the common goals
  • Highly self-driven with the ability to learn fast and think on their feet
  • Be constantly self-motivated to hunt / achieve sales targets under pressure
  • Determined, resilient and results-driven in a growth-focused startup
  • You should possess your own transport

Since our inception into the Malaysian market in October 2015, we've woken up at 4am to launch a new version of our product, built furniture together, hosted other local startups in a fireside chat, huddled together for warmth on a chilly work away in Genting Highlands, gobbled up delicious food from our extremely generous merchants, attempted to dress up for Halloween, amongst a host of other things.
