Job Description

• To assist in drafting, reviewing and advising on the terms of any contracts and agreements (such as commercial contracts - including but not limited to IT agreements, supplier, service, marketing, advertising and sponsorship agreements) and other legal documents for various requirements of the group of companies. 
• To assist in the group of companies’ intellectual property protection, as per the applicable laws, including without limitation to assist in drafting the appropriate agreements.
• To perform legal research and to keep abreast of applicable laws relating to the Group’s operations and advice on the impact of such changes on operations.
• To assist other legal issues, as required by the Group’s representatives, as per the legal provisions in force. 

Job Requirements

• Candidates must possess an LLB (Honours) degree from a recognized university.
• Candidates must have been called to the Bar.
• At least 3 – 5 years of post-qualifying relevant working experience preferably in the areas of corporate or commercial and intellectual property law.
• Familiar with intellectual property laws, data protection and competition laws.
• Must have thorough knowledge of general corporate legal issues and strong drafting skills.
• Strong command of both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to interact with personnel at all levels.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
• A Team player, resilient, self-starter, flexible and with positive attitude.
