Reporting to the MANAGER OF SOURCING & PLANNING you will be responsible for:

Reporting to the MANAGER OF SOURCING & PLANNING you will be responsible for:
- Delegate tasks and set deadlines
- Oversee day-to-day operation
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics
- Motivate team members
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
- Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
- Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
- Encourage creativity and risk-taking
- Leading sourcing team to achieve sourcing KPIs as listed below but not limited to:-
- PO issuing and order fulfilment, retail import handling / process, Supplier management performance.
- Provide reports to management on regular basis.
- Perform root cause analysis of demand issues and provide permanent resolutions.
- Escalate complex demand issues to management for immediate resolutions.
- Work with team to monitor inventory levels v.s capacity to keep optimum level of inventory.
- Schedule regular meetings to review demands and inventory levels.
- PO issuance and troubleshooting
- Inbound leveraging (leverage inbound plan without impacting on ATP)
- OTIF (On Time & In Full)
- Supplier performance and training
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:
- Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and leadership skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Decision-making and strong problem-solving skills
- Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Supply Chain, Economics or equivalent.
- Strong grasp of business and financial principles (would be an added advantage)
- Dynamic personality who can react quickly to a changing environment with the ability to work under pressure
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
