Job Description
Reporting to Venture Head of Technology and Development, you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for the development of internal and external software and systems
- Involving and managing a team of junior developers and trainees
- Identify applications limitations in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods
- Unit testing and debugging for applications to correct errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocol
- Follow standard development life cycle according to microservices design pattern
- Writing and maintaining systems documentations and APIs in repository
- Versioning and Deployment management with collaboration with the regional developers
- Work closely with regional counterparts on the development and adoption of core LEL system features
- Drive the effort of developing API endpoints & Integrate with external partner like merchants’ ERPs
- Support e-commerce merchants and internal stakeholders with API integration
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in computer science or information technology
- 5 years experience in Objected Oriented Programming and software development
- Backend APIs programming using NodeJS and PHP
- Experience in NoSQL Database Management and Hadoop Ecosystem Tools
- Hands on Frontend Modules and Components Developments
- Strong Git Code Repository and Stackoverflow commits
- Experience in Continuous Integration, End to End Testing and Automated Deployment
- 3 year development experience within a team using Agile Methodologies
- Good grasp of Mandarin is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Experience in AI and Machine Learning is a plus
