Job Description

  • Overseeing daily engagement with brands in the category by:
    • Managing price competitiveness, assortment and stock availability
    • Working with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues impacting brand performance on Lazada (operations, fulfilment services, marketing, finance etc.)
    • Conducting regular analysis on sales, traffic, conversion and customer funnel. Deriving and sharing insight to steer promotional and marketing activities
    • Managing junior brand key account manager and/or coaching category team on brand engagement
    • Collecting brand feedback and generating big ideas on how to better partner with our brands both on daily and campaign basis
  • Growing category brand portfolio through joint business planning
    • Owning the joint business plan process for the entire category: setting targets and driving regular performance reviews with senior management
    • Acting as trusted brand advisor on e-commerce / go to market strategy
    • Crafting and planning promotional campaigns including launch of exclusive products
    • Planning brand marketing engagement including onsite brand visibility, online marketing strategy and co-marketing efforts on social media and offline 
  • Driving pitching and on-boarding of new brands for the category

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce, retail or brand management, ideally in relationship management / category management / key account management or related fields
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, senior presence with proven ability to represent your organization in meetings with senior external stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation track-record and demonstrated ability to influence others
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills backed by intermediate knowledge of Excel, ability to use data to understand root causes of performance and make decisions
  • Action and solution-oriented mindset, comfortable in fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong ownership and attention to details
  • Passion about improving both customer and brand experience
  • Team spirit and enthusiasm about learning
