Job Description

The  Technical Support Specialist will take calls from our customer and troubleshoot issues with not only the hardware/software but also support internal users. We do not require you to be on shifts, and generally no week end work unless absolutely necessary.

  • Act as first level of support for our financial risk software/products to financial institutions
  • Troubleshoot issues raised by our customers or software issues to resolution.
  • Gather necessary information to document and resolve customer concerns.
  • Answer general tier one questions related to product(s) or service(s).
  • Collaborate with Development team on problem use cases.
  • Create new reports/modify existing report if any to manage case backlog or common trends
  • Manage day to day internal IT requirements and request; i.e – hardware & maintenance.

Job Requirements

 
  • BS degree in Computing/Information systems. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Three years of experience in information systems, including experience with supporting software applications or other outreach systems 
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint 
  • Requires strong organizational and problem solving skills and the ability to work cooperatively with other department members, system users, and clients.
