Job Description

• Design, develop, execute and maintain test plans and test scenarios for business and UI/ UX integration. 
• Develop and lead the automation strategy/ effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles. 
• Collaborate and introduce new test framework or practices to Product and Technology in upholding high quality software. 
• Analyze User Stories and create testing strategies to optimize manual, tool assisted and fully automated tests. 
• Maintain and continue to develop on end-to-end test automation framework. 
• Work closely within Technology team to test new functionality, review unit test development, and ensure testable interfaces are provided for new features. 
• Educate and influence Product and Technology teams on how they can contribute to the overall framework and build their own test cases. 
• Collaborate and understand the needs of the QA team to automate manual steps. 
• Collaborate with Technology team to understand and influence changes to accelerate software development velocity. 

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of working experience in QA with hands-on experience with different types of testing (System, Regression, Performance, Load, Security etc.) 
• Experienced in Functional, Integration testing across various devices and browser platforms. 
• Expert in automated testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, Behat etc. 
• Experienced in Node.js frameworks like Nightwatchjs, Cypress etc. 
• Experienced in API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI etc. 
• Proficient in at least one source control tool (Git). 
• Comfortable with PHP, JavaScript, Python languages and know how to test applications built on these languages. 
• Knowledge of micro-services based Architecture and messaging protocols would be advantageous. 
• Collaborative, with strong critical thinking and analytical skills. 
• Highly organized, able to adjust priorities and pay great attention to details. 
• Good understanding of user experience and usability testing. 
• Excellent communicator and able to work in Sprint and Scrum methodology.
