Our client is a global and world-renowned MNC in the FMCG industry located in Petaling Jaya. They have a strong brand presence and are well-known with their brands/products. Due to recent changes and developments, they are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join their world class team.
Your new role
You'll be based in their PJ office half of the time. The remaining of your time would be in another country in this region as you are supporting the market there. You'll be reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance & FP&A. This role would manage 1 direct report. Your responsibilities for this role includes:

Your new role

You'll be reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance & FP&A. This role would manage 1 direct report. Your responsibilities for this role includes:
- Being a Finance Business Partner to the Sales and Marketing team to ensure effective and efficient cost management and ensure financial targets are met
- Providing financial support and strategic advice for projects/new initiatives
- In-charge of competitor analysis, brand positioning and comparison of market shares
- Review product costing and pricing
- Be apart of the sales and commercial strategy planning team

Job Requirements
What you'll need to succeed
- Comfortable with travelling for work.
- Possess relevant experience in Commercial Finance and/or FP&A of at least 5 years and a cumulative of at least 8 years experience in other Accounting & Finance disciplines.
- Good communication skills and is able to influence changes without authority
- Strong communication skills and the ability to advise on the best course of actions to all business stakeholders
- Requires at least a degree in Accounting & Finance and/or professional qualification.
