Job Description

  
We are looking for someone that has experience or keen to work as Assistant Finance Manager role for our growing startup! The role works collaboratively with management team and department heads to maintain our accounts and to ensure long term financial security of our organization. 

  • Responsible for the preparation of the statutory financial statements, management accounts and operational reports of the company 
  • Review and control the cost and expenses of the company ensuring the efficient and effective use of company’s resources 
  • Oversee the secretarial, legal and taxation issues of the company 
  • Work closely with the auditors, accountants, company secretaries and tax agents to ensure that the company’s corporate and statutory matters are in order and compliant with the relevant law and regulations 
  • Simulate various financial scenarios through financial modeling and analytics to determine best course of action. 
  • Strong interpersonal and management abilities to build consensus and lead growth 
  • Regularly present potential opportunities, scenarios, and possible outcomes to management team 
  • Direct and manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents and reports 
  • Understand the big picture while managing the day-to-day financial details 
  • Collaborate with management on initiating, developing, and executing possible funding strategies 
  • Review financial and legal documentation to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles 
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations 
  • Analyze current finances and develop budgets for the following period/year 
  • Develop or recommend viable solutions for problems or situations

Job Requirements

 
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance or equivalent 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and finance 
  • Experienced in financial reporting, cost management, corporate tax and GST 
  • Able to work independently or with minimum supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Fighter 

 Others: 
  • Energetic, willing to learn and with the right attitude 
  • Based in Klang Valley, Malaysia 
  • With Tertiary education qualification 
  • Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills 
  • Willing to travel and must possess own transport 
  • Proficient in multiple language, especially English and Chinese is preferred
