Job Description

• Review Stories, provide feedback and agree testing estimates with the Test Manager or Project Manager. 
• Produce test plans, test conditions, detailed test scripts, daily status reports
• Report issues relating to business process, layout, alignment, spelling, grammar, functionality, URL links, consistency along branding.
• Plan, coordinate and manage UAT of systems across the entire suite of services and produce UAT Summary reports.
• Work closely with stakeholders to improve the quality of the deliverables throughout the Development/Testing Life Cycle. 
• Lead and mentor a Test Analyst team reporting to and taking direction from an Test Team Leader.
• Meet quality and responsiveness expectations set by the Test Team Leader. 
• Manage the work of the Test team in accordance with the priorities set by the Test Team Leader
• Required to work Australian business hours when pre-organised such as system releases
• Have clear track record documentation during test execution for test evidence 
• Testing in an Agile/Kanban approach 
• Assist in the creation and sign off of robust test plans to ensure quality is maintained 
• Responsible for updating regression test suites. 

Job Requirements

• Experience and proven success in a similar role 
• ISTQB Foundations Level Certified 
• Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent. 
• Minimum of 5+ years of continuous testing experience with particular focus on System Integration Testing and UAT within Telecom industry experience
• XML and JSON knowledge and skills
• Experience working with multiple testing tools, including Jira, HP ALM, Soap UI, Postman. Visio, Excel, Powerpoint, Word
• Experience working in complex environments with many stakeholders and vendors.
• Experience in IBM Cognos TM1
• Experience of front end usability testing / Web & Mobile testing 
• Full understanding and experience of UAT 
• Telco experience
• Experience of the software testing lifecycle 
• Experience in automating test cases
• Experience of working with various types of testing techniques and methodologies in particular, Waterfall and Agile 
• Strong experience in the preparation of End to End Test plans, test scripts, test results and defect reports 
• Experience with writing SQL queries 
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Exceptional communication skills 
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities, reprioritise tasks to ensure tasks are completed on time.
