Job Description

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports to discover trends, patterns, and correlations. 
• Review and validate data collected from internal or external stakeholders. 
• Work with internal and external stakeholders and IT partners to gather and validate requirements. 
• Develop and write business requirements for the design of BI solutions. 
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to establish instrumentation and reporting standards. 
• Establish, evaluate and seek to improve data sources and capability across the group and ensure data is shared to reduce duplication of effort. 
• Ensure best practice and informs new projects through the modelling of customer, company and industry data sets and insights from historical data. 
• Use data visualization tools, such as Tableau and others to present technical findings, concepts and research results in an engaging way to non-statistical audiences.

Job Requirements

• At least two years of experience with Big Data; experience in visualization and dashboard design best practices. 
• The savvy storyteller with experience translating data into actionable insights; ability to research, analyze, and draw out implications of events and situations. 
• Experience working with stakeholders and end-users to define, test, elicit and deliver technical and functional BI requirements by making use of Business Intelligence reporting tools. 
• Inherent interest in education and/or technology; ability to constantly remain abreast of new or emerging trends and technologies. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external partners and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness 
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; ability to make decisions independently in critical conditions and work under the pressure of deadlines 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to work effectively with teams throughout the Company. 
• Experience in Tableau and experience in maintaining MS SQL Server and related ETL processes is a plus.
