Are you passionate about how communications can affect perception and behaviours? Sounds a lot like you’re that Public Relations Assistant Manager we’re looking for.
About the job:
- To draw, schedule and drive media relations efforts in line with clients' and company-owned online media outlets e.g. Websites, Facebook, Twitter, Blogs/Content Hub etc.
- To collaborate with the content generation units consisting but not limited to digital, art and video departments in development of multimedia contents for media relations purposes.
- To assist in subject matter research in relation to newsworthy angles generation for the Company and/or its clients.
- To assist in scheduling and facilitation of brainstorm sessions and insights extraction in preparation PR component in new business proposals and pitches.
- To assist in public relations tactics under annual communications plan including but not limited to the area of higher-learning institution, media, and client relations.
- To build and maintain media list.
- To assist in special projects as assigned by the Company.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Advertising/Media, Mass Communications or equivalent.
- More than 2 years of working experience in the related field.
- Understanding in digital PR Is essential.
- Able to organise, plan and communicate effectively with all levels of people.
- Good communications and editorial writing skills, able to speak and write with excellent English command.
- Preferably Sr. Executive or Assistant Manager specialising in Marketing/PR/Advertising/Media Planning or equivalent.
