Job Description
The Writer will have the opportunity to assist the Management and teams within the Group to develop engaging content, creative copy and impactful story lines for Public Relations, Sustainability and Creative projects. Good written and verbal communication skills are vital because he/she will be interacting with teams, partners and clients. The Writer will be required to explain, sell and defend ideas, while remaining open to feedback and constructive criticism.
Key responsibilities:
- Research industry related topics, including reading relevant publications to stay up-to-date.
- Write creative, informative and insightful pieces according to given briefs.
- Draft, edit, revise and review work especially in response to feedback.
- Develop engaging content for corporate publications, media articles, blogs, stories and social media to entice and engage audiences.
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
- Proof read content for errors or additions and ensure that content is written per instructions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Copywriting, Journalism or with English Major.
- Fresh graduates or with 1-year of industry experience.
- Fresh graduates or with 1-year of industry experience.
- Skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy.
- Strong verbal communication in English and Bahasa Melayu. Other languages are an added advantage.
- Highly creative and curious about brands and current issues.
- Attention to detail.
- Pleasant and a people person.
- Able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in a team-oriented environment.
