Job Description

• Performing procurement/sourcing/purchasing function including supplier selection, supplier quality management, pricing negotiation and general cost reductions
• To monitor suppliers' performance in line with KPI or any contractual obligations
• To undertake an initial review of the existing purchase ordering process and implement continuous improvement
• To monitor on time receiving of inventory/stocks in good and satisfy condition
• To review and evaluate safe stock levels and minimum order quantities
• To prepare various reports for the management

Job Requirements

• Min. Degree in Engineering / Purchasing & Material Management / Commerce / Economics / Business Administration / or equivalent
• Min. 4  years of procurement experience with trading companies, similar industries or high volume transaction environment
• Broad knowledge of custom procedures and freight forwarding documentations
• Required language :  English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin in a Must
• Hands-on approach combined with ability to manage from holistics perperstive
• Responsible, dedicated and able to work under minimum supervision
