dahmakan is one of the fastest growing food tech startups in Southeast Asia. We make food delivery an everyday choice by delivering chef-made meals below restaurant prices at the push of a button.

Job Overview

To ensure timely and careful delivery of orders and using state of art proprietary technology to effectively move thousands of meals daily. Regular routine includes managing and organizing our rider fleet, recruit & train new riders, supporting our riders on-the-job, preparing operational reports and answering queries from internal stakeholders.

Job Descriptions

Managing and organizing our rider fleet to ensure quality and reliability
Recruitment and training of new riders in our dahmakan academy
Guide and support riders on-the-job to ensure every delivery is on-time
Support the Operations Manager in daily operations and processes
Collect data about deliveries, analyse and understand root causes for problems, work on optimizing a great delivery experience with our product and tech team
Work on various operational reports to assist management in gauging departmental performance

Job Requirements

You are:

Highly organised
Work well under pressure: good at making decisions quickly
Clear communication skills: (verbal & written) in English & Malay,
Forward thinking and an action-taker: you anticipate potential problems and prevent them before they occur
Empathetic but resilient: You deeply care about customers but always remain calm
You like to work with others and have fun at work
You have experience in operations or startups (at least 1 year)
Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.
Ability to identify numbers and information in order to sort meals correctly.
Ability to use basic computer applications (Word, Excel etc).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
