At Biji-biji Initiative, we aimed to share progressive ideas and brainstorm sustainable solutions for environmental advocates. Biji-Biji Initiative is based in Me.reka Makerspace where we are offering our innovative 21st century literacy to sustainable audiences via experiential workshops and educational talks. Me.reka Makerspace team also play a considerable role in running the space from time to time.

The Team:
Join our HQ team in Me.reka Makerspace by becoming Biji-biji Project Management Interns to make sure our growth opportunities implemented and to carry out Biji-biji teams project with no hiccups. Our high performers HQ team makes that happen by sorting any paperwork, and by being a fast-thinker in solving problem even before they occur! We are organised so that we can meet deadlines; detailed so that we meet all requirements and work efficiently; great writers and communicators so that we can solve problems and simplify complicated procedures. Importantly, we need to be able to remain our positive attitude and be stress-resistant because working in Me.reka Makerspace is all about having fun at office hours!

Job Roles:
  • Responsible for the planning, arrangement and execution of the projects 
  • Assisting to manage specific areas within a project such as timelines, budgets, milestones and deliverable to successfully drive projects and other initiatives 
  • Assist in identifying risks and opportunities within the project plans
  • Assist in implementing monitoring tools to evaluate project plans
  • Be supportive in working and coordinating across cross-functional teams within the projects such as Research and Development (R&D) team

Job Requirements

  • Candidates must posses background in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, International Business, Economics, Marketing & Business Developments or any related field 
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication skills 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint or Google G-suite 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Be enthusiastic, curious and positive
