Join Me.reka,  an innovative and alternative 21st century education space. Me.reka is one of the business division of Biji-biji Initiative, a pioneering impact driven business in Malaysia. 

We are looking for a creative thinker that be able to play a pivotal and strategic roles in the growth and success of our educational products and programmes, and engage with collaborative partnerships such as Industry Partners and Academia to create shared value. 

The ideal candidates will have an all-out energy and experience in developing and promoting education modules and curriculum to education and training provider, as well as your understanding in it. We want your enthusiasm in promoting our business models to the clients to make our educators and students have an enjoyable experience in Me.reka.

The Role:

  • Have good understanding and knowledge about organization vision and mission, ensure the set goals and objectives being accomplished.
  • Working closely with the education team to drive Me.reka education sales and manage education project.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of ideas to prospective clients, collaborators, external trainers and partners to deliver education content materials such as new and existing learning methods and subjects (VR, Coding & Programming, Sustainability, Electronics, Fashion, Fabrication, Rapid Prototyping, etc). 
  • Liaise with schools, universities, corporates and external trainers to assist in coordinating the education delivery.
  • Assist to develop and implement sales strategies and client service with a mission to reach the sales target.
  • Assist to expand Me.reka education programme to education provider and corporates and Me.reka activities for social events and festivals.
  • Ensure an effective lead generation pipeline by actively respond to requests and queries and maintain those information on CRM database.
  • Identify sales opportunities with the prospective customers and maintaining existing partners and collaborators relationship 
  • Working closely with HQ team for budget allocation needs and training and development needs.
  • Working closely with Marketing & Communications team for brand development strategies, pitch ideas, proposal contents etc.
  • To support as needed on wider sales and marketing activity

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related fields.
  • 1 - 2 years' relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred. Keen or have experience in online and blended learning program development, e-learning methods, and instructional learning design will be an advantage. 
  • Good understanding of education market principle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to demonstrate the language of marketing/21st century education insight/brand development.
  • Proficient in Office, Spreadsheet, Prosperworks (Sales Leads) and relevant software
  • Demonstrate passion and commitment to creativity, innovation and marketing.
  • Self-confidence and enjoy networking and public speaking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adaptive and agile
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, when the project requires so
  • Passionate about sustainability, 21st century education, and alternative education models
  • Preferred to have own transportation.
