Job Description

• Collating, extract data and market intel produced in house, working closely with the Liner Commercial teams  
• Proactively sourcing data and market intel about customers, competitors and market trends  
• Providing competitor analysis on various Companies’ market offerings, identify market conditions, pricing, marketing methods etc. 
• Extrapolate market trends and patterns from data analysis and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations    
• Thoroughly analyze data obtained for accuracy of details and convert findings into understandable & quality tables, graphs and written reports  
• Responding to and coordinating responses to Principal requests for data, design viable services/routings to principals 
• Strong follow-up to develop close relationships to remain fully informed on market trends through various publications, statistics and reports by the port authorities, maritime experts, trade associations, researches etc. 
• Become a subject matter expert for our marketing data and act as an analytics resource for the Commercial teams 

Job Requirements

• Adequate knowledge of data collection methods 
• Analytical and critical thinking skills 
• Strong communication and presentation skills 
• Excellent knowledge of statistical packages, databases and MS Office 
• Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen 
• Degree in Statistics, Marketing, Maritime or related field 
• Min 3 years proven working experience in market research analysis 
• Must be Mandarin literate (oral & written)
