Job Description

• Responsible for the procurement of materials & equipments, appointment of subcontractor for civil and mechanical works, electrical works and other works related to project activities in local & overseas.
• Responsible for management and coordination of all project activities related to procurement for the portion assigned, including logistics and to manage suppliers and subordinates to ensure procurement activities are completed in accordance with project budget, estimation, quality, schedule and safety goals.
• Actively participate and commit in full procurement cycle, from sourcing, analysis, negotiation, presentation for approval, issuing purchase order, follow up, delivery and verifying invoices.
• Ensure all relevant policies and procedures related to procurement activities are well understood and enforced.
• Review of tender documents on receipt to ensure its completeness.
• To assist in the preparation of proposals.
• To assist in business development activities.
• Ability to read drawings, take quantity and float enquiries with all technical and commercial terms.
• Works closely with other departments to finalize purchase specifications requirement and to ensure the overall quality of purchased items to meet performance expectations.
• Responsible for strategic supplier selection, evaluation and contract negotiations on requirements of engineering, product management, operations, sales and clients.
• Analyze and evaluate supplier’s quotation. Negotiate prices and delivery conditions.
• Ensure the Company’s procurement policy is adhered to, to support those in the purchasing process across business.
• Prepares documents for internal process as per ISO standards. Prepare reports and attend meetings as required and instructed by immediate superior
• Perform any other job/function that may be assigned to you in accordance with needs of the Company/Subsidiary/Affiliate/Associated Companies.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree/Diploma in Material Management/Logistic or equivalent.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Ability to handle the procurement and purchasing operations of Company.
• Understand software and hardware.
• Result oriented, success driven and self starter.
