Job Description
Receivables; - Receive payments and post amounts paid to customer accounts. - Locate and monitor overdue accounts, using computers and a variety of automated systems. - Record information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts. - Confer with customers by telephone or in person to determine reasons for overdue payments and to review the terms of sales, service, or credit contracts. - Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment. - Issue dunning letters to overdue accounts. Payables; - review invoices and check requests - sort and match invoices and check requests - set invoices up for payment - process payment requests - prepare and process accounts payable checks, wire transfers and ACH payments - monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date - resolve invoice discrepancies General task; - Maintain a filing system for all financial documents - produce monthly reports - assist in month end closing - Sort and file correspondence, and perform miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering correspondence and writing reports. - Perform various administrative functions for assigned accounts, such as recording address changes and purging the records of deceased customers.Job Requirements
- Ideally educated to degree level or diploma in Business Administration/ Management/ Finance. - At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. - Experience of dealing with different time zones. - Willingness to work in a multicultural environment. - Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. - Bright, confident personality, well presented, highly personable. - Flexible and mature approach with ability to work unsupervised. - Outgoing and fun personality.Additional Info
