Job Description

As a Social Enterprise committed to creating social and environmental impact projects, we are always looking to stay up to date on the latest developments and best practice in sustainable development and sustainable governance practices.

Client Projects
  • Assist in planning and execution of client projects according to project deliverables
  • Research and prepare communications materials, sharing and spreading information on sustainability
  • Assist in project management (procurement, set up, event duty, tear down, supplier engagement, reporting) 

Supply Chain
  • Collect data on materials currently used Biji-biji departments and identify less sustainable materials among them
  • Research alternative materials, and the feasibility of switching to new materials
  • Find alternative products, materials, suppliers, and services Business Development
  • Assist with WFTO application 

Reporting
  • Collect data and assist in writing and preparing project sustainability reports based on SDG indicators

Waste Management
  • Assist with internal waste management at all Biji-biji office and production facilities

Other Tasks
  • Assist with sales, marketing and creation of digital content regarding sustainability in Malaysia
  • Finding partners, collaborators, and beneficiary communities for projects

Job Requirements

  • Must possess excellent knowledge of the English language, able to communicate professionally both spoken and written (crucial) 
  • Must be able to commit at least 3 months 
  • Interest or background in sustainability
