Job Description

1. Oversee software development and/or systems engineering project activities to be delivered by scrum team for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.
2. Manage communications to and between project team members and stakeholders throughout project life cycle.
3. Govern project quality assurance at different stage gates.
4. Liaise with business/project owner(s) together with other project team members to ensure that objectives and requirements are understood and documented in detail.
5. Work collaboratively with developers, and solution architect to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementation.
6. Work with tester to ensure quality assurance for deliverables.
7. Work with support team to prepare for post deployment support and drafting of operational support processes.
8. Work with product/training team for preparation and delivery of internal/external training.
9. Work with go-to-market team for alignment of schedules between technical development and go-to-market activities.
10. Practice adherence to project management, change management and security management governance policies.

Job Requirements

1. Candidates should possess a degree in the field of Engineering (electrical/electronic/telecommunications), Computer Science, or Information Technology (Hardware/Software).
2. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in either consulting, software development, systems engineering, system analysis and/or business process management.
3. The following skill-sets are required:
   • Good verbal communication skills - Ability to engage people at different levels, manage stakeholder expectations, and motivate other members within the team to succeed in delivery of projects.
   • Good writing skills – report project status clearly and accurately, communicate with both internal and external parties in a clear and concise manner, etc.
   • Able to develop business requirements, use case and process documentation
   • Proficiency in MS Office, and project management tools (eg. MS Project, Atlassian Jira,etc.)
   • Familiar with software development lifecycles, with experience in agile/scrum methodologies
   • Candidates must be analytical, meticulous and demonstrate the ability to multi-task and handle detailed work.
   • Able to adapt quickly to changes in work environment and processes. 
   • English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate in other local languages will be an added advantage.
   • Hunger to learn, progress and thrive in a fast-paced business, and a firm determination to succeed.
   • Strong sense of ownership on projects to be delivered, and able to work with very minimal supervision
