• Design, conceptualisation and planning of projects and events;
• Develop comprehensive project and event planning frameworks, processes and templates: including budgets, timelines, resources and stakeholder plans;
• Conduct risk assessments, prevention and mitigation plans;
• Manage project resources including service providers, speakers, trainers and vendors;
• Lead project meetings, coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders;
• Report on project progress and financials;
• Propose improvements and innovation of our project management frameworks, culture and tools;
• Support tender and RFP submissions.

• In the short term, your goal is to manage existing projects/events and plan future ones
• In the medium term, your goal is to improve our project/event management results
• In the long term, your goal is to build a stronger project/event management culture and practice within the organisation.

Job Requirements

• Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in any field;
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Excellent written communication skills in English with working knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia;
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Previous professional experience or internship in NGOs, consulting agencies, entrepreneurship development organisations, programme management and creative industries or related fields are preferred but not required;

• Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of managing clients, external project technical resources, community events and partners
• Strong organisational skills;
