Job Description

Responsibilities: 
  • Manage and support systems in the local data centers and in the Cloud.
  • Manage and support matters with the Local LAN and WAN Links along with and site-to-site VPN link between offices.
  • Provide support to end-users, manage workstations and related equipment in the company.
  • Monitors and perform faults report and case escalation with relevant vendors.
  • Manage & administer internal file servers.
  • Assist HR Team on creating and maintaining emails and managing user access credentials on in-house system (LDAP).
  • Monitor servers / system operations and plan future capacity for future growth. 
  • Perform periodic housekeeping & disaster recovery planning.
  • Required to carry out duties in Bukit Kemuning office with visits to Bangsar South office as and when required.  
  • Perform other administrative tasks, including keeping track of IT hardware inventory of servers, PC / Laptops and related parts.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation in the internal knowledge base.
  • Reports directly to Head of DevOps. 

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Systems Administration role.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux and virtualization environment are essential.
  • Familiar with Microsoft, Debian, DELL, HP, Synology, products, and technologies, would be a great advantage.
  • Must have good network troubleshooting skills (LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP & VLAN)
  • Good communication skills, both in oral and written (English & Bahasa Malaysia).
  • Must have great analytic mindset, and have effective communication skills, and able to work independently, particularly on troubleshooting under pressure.
  • Possesses good understanding of end-users needs, and can provide effective support for their working environment. 
  • Knowledge of working in Printing / Production environment would be great advantage.
  • Applicant must be will to work in Bukit Kemuning and Bangsar South.
  • Having that willingness to help and able to work under pressure is a must.
  • Must have driving license and possess own transport.
  • Applicant must be Malaysian citizen.
